About Founder

After He Earned his Degree in Textile Design from NIFT, He was posted for Work with Artisan & Handicraft Cluster at Bhuj, kutch Gujarat. Worked With More Than Eight Tribes of Gujarat like Ahir, Rabari, Khatri & More Communities, he has explored in Richness of Indian Textiles and the Heritage of handloom, with Implemented Design workshops and training Sessions with the Artisans which influenced his aesthetic and understanding of craft and artisanship.

After Five Years of Industrial Experience in Textile, handloom, And handicraft, he has decided to Promote our Aesthetic of Indian Textiles on a Universal Platform and he founded CHOKIR LABEL in 2021 with two sewing machines, and the support of his family and Friends.

The Chokir Label is the perfect blend of comfort, style, and craft we take pride in joining hands with artisans all over India to create the best for our customers. We are focused to create with local artisan with outstanding, classy, and sustainable clothing in authentic quality.   

 

Every product of ours has its own creation and uniqueness design and many of the product takes days of Aesthetic craftsmanship. We take responsibility for the earth in our small way and consciously strive towards reducing waste and devising Eco-friendly methods of crafting our garments

 

OUR PHILOSOPHY

CHOKIR LABEL believes that fashion plays a defining role in enhancing a person’s confidence and sense of self. As a brand, we create crafted designs that are versatile enough to transcend places and event. Whether it is a Festival Collection, an Anarkali, or a Dupatta Suit set, the intention is to offer the customer a piece that they will love and wear for many years.

 

WOMEN EMPOWERMENT

As medium of change, we seek to preserve the rich textile craft and richness of India, while also empowering rural artisans, especially women and rural artisans.

We’re proud to work with women like the Artisan of Kutch and some communities like Rabari and Ahir, who is a highly skilled artisans in traditional Indian embroidery.
